The Chase Group's fees are based upon the successful sale of what you have to sell and there are never any hidden surprises. Many online sellers quote a low commission, but then charge extra fees such as eBay and PayPal fees which are not clearly disclosed in advance and make their effective commission rates higher than ours. Here are our simple and easy-to-understand fees for various ways of listing items with us:

For Merchandise

No Reserve Auctions

Prior to Sale

  • No Cost

After the Sale

  • 50% of the final sales price

Reserve Auctions

Prior to Sale

  • $24.99 Listing fee
  • 2% Fee based upon your reserve price
  • Upfront fees are credited towards our standard "after the sale" fees only if the item sells

After the Sale

  • 50% of the final sales price

For Vehicles

Prior to Sale

  • $300 up front fee which covers a smog test, pictures eBay Insertion Fee, eBay Transaction Services Fee and all costs associated with create a listing for you
  • $150 inspection fee to review vehicle condition and properly describe your vehicle for auction

After the Sale

  • 12% of the vehicle sales price up to $10,000
  • 8% of the vehicle sales price $10,001 and over

*Note that final sales price refers to the total value bid on any single auction item or auction item lot which was listed together on a single eBay listing page. The fees we charge are all-inclusive and there are no hidden extras. For merchandise listings, we pay all eBay Insertion Fees, Final Value Fees, PayPal or credit card processing fees; as well as all costs associated with processing, handling and managing your item listings. If a formal appraisal or grading of your item is required by an outside company, we will ask your permission first and any relevant costs will be passed along to you.
